Kiddie Pool

The weather here in the PacNW has finally turned to feel like summer, and since swim lessons are over, at least for now, Sarah bought us a kiddie pool.  This past weekend, between snack times, Grace would help me set up the pool and then go for a morning dip, and again in the afternoon when she awoke from her nap.

I think Grace enjoyed filling the pool more than anything else.  It was her first extended exposure to the hose pipe, and the water shooting from the spout was a source of near endless pleasure.  I invited our neighbors and their child Wyatt to join in the sun screen lathering, pool playing, summertime goodness.

Wyatt, being a boy,  was a bit more rambunctious with the hose than Grace.
Considering the children were not yet in swimsuits, mischievous hilarity ensued.

Cindy, Wyatt's mother, became a casualty of the fun as she
tried futilely to prevent Wyatt from getting any more wet...
